We are proud to announce that in 2009 we had our most profitable fundraising year ever! In May, we hosted our annual golf outing, and decided to add a morning tee time to support the overflow of the sold out afternoon outing. We are very pleased to say we had 174 golfers participate. Also in July, numerous friends & family joined us at a Lakewood Blue Claws game. That evening, we sold over 200 tickets and raised $1500 through all of your generous donations.
In September, the Friends and Neighbors in Action chose our organization along with Embrace Kids to participate in their Annual 5K Race. With 300 walkers/runners, $26,000 was raised and distributed amongst the three charities. It was their most successful race ever! Also in the Fall, Kenny ran the NYC marathon in honor of his brother Danny. He completed the race in 4:19, and raised $4500 for the foundation.
Finally, in December we received some very exciting news. The DPRF is now Federally recognized as a 501(c)3.

Registration must be completed and paid in full to reserve a place in the morning or afternoon round of golf. Each round of golf will be limited to 120 players. Please reserve your spot early.
On November 1, 2009, Kenny ran the NYC Marathon in honor of his brother Danny. He completed 26.2 miles, including 5 bridges in 4 hours 19 minutes and 21 seconds. Kenny came in 21,735 out of 43,375 runners. He used the marathon as a fundraiser for the foundation. Total donations received - $4,505.
The Monroe Township Recreation Department and Rowan University are just some of the groups and organizations that have paid tribute to Danny and his family.
